ImpactNests (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates impactnests.com — a platform for jobs, internships, tenders and news on environment, agriculture, technology and social impact. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details — name and email when you subscribe, comment, or contact us.
  • Application details — information you share when applying to an opportunity, forwarded only to that employer.
  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, searches, filters, browser and approximate location, used in aggregate.
  • Cookies — to remember preferences and measure performance.

2. How We Use It

  • Operate and improve the site, search and filters.
  • Send newsletters you subscribed to (one-click unsubscribe).
  • Forward applications to the employer you chose — nothing else.
  • Prevent spam, fraud and abuse; comply with law.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

3. Legal Bases

Consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests and legal compliance — including India’s DPDP Act, 2023 and, for EEA/UK visitors, the GDPR.

4. Sharing

  • Employers/issuers you apply to.
  • Service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under contract.
  • Legal requirements.
  • Business transfer, with notice.

5. Retention

Newsletter data until you unsubscribe; contact messages up to 24 months; server logs up to 12 months; forwarded applications are not retained. Request earlier deletion any time.

6. Security

HTTPS, restricted access, patched software and hashed credentials. We will notify you of any breach as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, objection, portability, and complaint to your data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board). Email privacy@impactnests.com — we respond within 30 days.

8. Children

ImpactNests is not directed at children under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data.

9. Third-Party Links

External career pages and tender portals have their own policies — review them before sharing personal data.
